Nancy Jane Jenkins

Nancy Jane Jenkins, age 70 of View Crest Road, Moorefield, WV, passed away Monday afternoon, April 11, 2022 at her residence with her family at her side. Born on February 6, 1952 in Olney, Montgomery County, MD, she was a daughter of the late Sherman Arthur Riffey and Lucy Adeline Thomas-Riffey. Nancy had retired from Rockingham/ Pilgrim’s after being employed for 37 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Ray Jenkins, December 1993. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Cathy Jenkins, and a sister, Mary Baker.

Surviving is a daughter, Sharon (Jeff) Wilson of Moorefield, WV; a son, James Jay Jenkins of Moorefield, WV; her significant other, Roger L. Wolfe, four grandchildren, Melissa Martel-Estrada, Nathan Jenkins, Hunter Wilson, Matthew Jenkins, all of Moorefield, WV one great-grandson, Jordan Martel-Estrada of Moorefield, WV, and a brother, Ricky Turner of Tennessee

Nancy loved life with her family, her true love was her grandchildren and spoiling them, cherishing every moment with them. She enjoyed planting and tending to her flowers. She loved simple things in life, the beach and the great outdoors. Nancy was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Moorefield, WV

Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street with Pastor Brian Hipp officiant. Interment will be private at the Jenkins Family Cemetery, near Moorefield, WV. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until time of services at 2:00 PM. Pallbearers will be James Jay Jenkins, Sharon Wilson, Melissa Martel-Estrada, Hunter Wilson, Matthew Jenkins and Nathan Jenkins. Due to the current COVID-19 recommendations, wearing of masks and social distancing by individuals unvaccinated is recommended.
