Nora Burnell Turner

Burnell Turner, age 79 of Lee St., Moorefield, WV, passed away Monday, February 28, 2005, at the Grant County Nursing Home in Petersburg, WV. Born January 19, 1926 in Kessel, WV, she was a daughter of the late Sanford & Elsie (Pratt) Simmons. Her husband Boyd E. Turner preceded her in death in August 1953. A son, three brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death. Surviving are three sons, Jeffrey Turner of Anaheim, CA, Gerald Jay Turner of Moorefield, WV and Timothy Turner of Keyser, WV; a daughter, Beverly Kile of Petersburg, WV; two brothers, Lloyd Simmons of Summerville, SC and Donnie Simmons of Cumberland, MD; three sisters, Ruby Pratt & Monie Boswell of Moorefield, WV and Kay Hite of Cumberland, MD and six grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday, March 3, 2005 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with the Rev. Richard Longbon officiating. Interment will follow at the Lahmansville Cemetery, Lahmansville, WV. The family will receive friends from 2 ? 4 & 6 ? 8 PM Wednesday at the Fraley Funeral Home.
