Odessa Hedrick

Odessa Elizabeth Hedrick, age 89 of South Elm Street, Moorefield, WV passed away Monday January 27, 2003 at the E. A. Hawse Continuous Care Center in Baker, WV. Born September 12, 1913 in Old Fields, WV she was a daughter of the late Walter G. & Laura (Hines) Barr. She was a member of the Moorefield Presbyterian Church. Her husband, Arlie Hedrick preceded her in death in March 1972; four brothers and one sister also preceded her in death. She is survived by two sons, Donald Hedrick of Moorefield, WV and Eugene Hedrick of Goldsboro, NC; a brother, Don Barr of Petersburg, WV; five sisters, Georgeanna Sherman of Rig, WV, Nola George of Dorcas, WV, Ramona Evans of Maysville, WV, Virginia Evans of Moorefield, WV and MaryAnn Hartman of Cabins, WV and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services were conducted Thursday, January 30, 2003 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with the Rev. Ted Osgood & Rev. Braxton Garris officiating. Interment followed in the Olivet Cemetery.
