Patricia Ann Bond-Clemmons

Patricia Ann Bond-Clemmons, age 76 of Morgantown, WV formerly of Moorefield, WV, passed away Thursday afternoon, October 5, 2022, at Stonerise Morgantown in Morgantown, WV. Born on February 28, 1946, in Washington, DC, she was a daughter of the late James Edward Bond and Virginia Dare Feller Bond.

Patricia was a 1964 graduate of Moorefield High School and furthered her education at West Virginia University, graduating with a master’s degree in Psychiatric Social Work. She was employed in the Washington, DC area as a county superintendent of social services for numerous years and most recently a long-term resident of Morgantown.

Surviving are two children, Sean Clemmons of Seattle, WA and Jennifer Duff of Bonney Lake, WA; four grandchildren, Lilly Duff, Piper Duff, Oliver Clemmons & Josiah Clemmons; and a brother, James Bond, II of Moorefield, WV.

Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday, October 14, 2022, at the Moorefield Presbyterian Church with Pastor Harold Tongen officiant. Interment will follow in the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 – 6 PM Thursday, October 13^th at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street. Due to the current COVID-19 recommendations, wearing of masks and social distancing by individuals unvaccinated is recommended.
