Pattie Fazenbaker

Pattie Lynn Fazenbaker, age 50 of Moorefield, WV, passed away Monday afternoon, December 29, 2025, at her residence. Born on August 7, 1975, in Petersburg, WV, she was the daughter of Linda Kay Raines McCausley of Moorefield, WV and the late Samuel W. Shockey, Jr. In addition to her father, a brother, Tommie McCausley also preceded her in death.

Pattie had a infectious spirit that lit up every room she entered. She cherished time spent with family, and her grandkids—Rayna, Aybree, and Kaisley—were the spark in her eye. She loved riding around at night, music blaring, especially if it was Morgan Wallen. Life was meant for enjoyment, and Pattie knew how to savor every moment.

Pattie leaves behind her loving husband, Bernard M. Fazenbaker, and daughters, Brittany (Richard) Guinn and Alissa Fazenbaker of Moorefield, along with her brother, William “Grump” (Rachel) McCausley, sisters Tammy (Jimmy) Miller and Samantha Munson, and a wonderful sister-in-law, Phyllis McCausley. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins—each carrying a cherished memory of her vibrant spirit.

Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, January 3, 2025, at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Brian Hipp officiant. Interment will follow in the Elijah High Cemetery, Junction, WV. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM (Noon) until the time of service.
