Quinten Arthur Champ, age 85 of Old Fields, WV, passed away Thursday morning, September 2, 2004 at his residence. Born October 15, 1918 at North Mountain, Champe Rocks, Pendleton Co., WV, he was the son of the late Andrew J. & Ethel (Alt) Champ. His wife, Bessie Florence (Layton) Champ preceded him in death in March 1968. A grandson, four sisters and four brothers also preceded him in death. Surviving are seven sons, Charles Champ, Sr. and his wife Dottie of Purgitsville, WV, with whom Quinten resided, Roger Champ and his wife Shelia of Moorefield, WV, Carl Champ and his wife Nancy of Purgitsville, WV, Gary Champ and his wife Cheryl of Purgitsville, WV, Jim Champ and his wife Sharon of Purgitsville, WV, John Champ and his wife Barbara of Purgitsville, WV and Andrew Champ of Purgitsville, WV; a daughter, Judy Pratt and husband Roger of Moorefield, WV; four brothers, Earl Champ of Cabins, WV, Harlan Champ of Baltimore, MD, Darryl Champ of Petersburg, WV and Dayton Champ of Lahmansville, WV; three sisters, Thelma Rohrbaugh of Petersburg, WV, Virginia Vance of Petersburg, WV and Ruby Dolly of Medley, WV; eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Sunday, September 5, 2004 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield, WV with Pastor Vivan Watts officiating. Interment will follow at the Lahmansville Cemetery, Lahmansville, WV. The family will receive friends from 2 ? 4 & 6 ? 8 PM Saturday at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield
