Randall “Randy” Allen Rohrbaugh, age 73, of Petersburg, WV went to be with his heavenly father on Monday, May 22, 2023 at his residence surrounded by the love of his life, after a battle with terminal brain cancer. He was born on Thursday, March 2, 1950 to the late Louverna Mae (McDonald) Rohrbaugh and Noah William "June" Rohrbaugh, Jr.
Randy, the most loving and devoted husband, and father is survived by his wife Helen Victoria (Bensenhaver) Rohrbaugh; daughter, Katherine “Katie” Ann Elizabeth Rohrbaugh, significant other Aaron Moreland Jr; grandchildren, Hinlee and Hayes Moreland, and his faithful dog, Dobie.
Randy was a graduate of Petersburg High School and was drafted out of high school and served three years in the United States Army. After his discharge from the U.S. Army, Randy attended Lincoln Technical institute in Baltimore MD to study diesel mechanic.
Randy had the personality and natural charisma to make friends no matter the situation, and his laugh was infectious to everyone around him. A man of many traits, but his most well-known was his love of his cub cadet tractors. He was always tinkering and having his daughter look up almost impossible to find parts.
Randy was a truly great man whose impact will be forever felt by his family, who loves him dearly. He was a selfless man whose passing left an unfillable gap in the hearts of his loved ones. His ability to sacrifice, provide, support, and love will be forever engrained in all he knew.
In keeping his wishes, his body will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorials can be made in Randy’s memory to Glioblastoma Foundation at P.O. Box 62066, Durham, NC 27715 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
