Raymond Butler Harr

Raymond Butler ?Buck? Harr, age 83 of Clay Street, Moorefield, WV passed away Saturday, January 24, 2004 at his residence. Born January 25, 1920 in Canaan Valley, WV, he was a son of the late Frank and Caroline (Kesner) Harr. He was a veteran of the US Army Air Corps of WWII having served in India and traveled around the world. Buck worked for the WV Department of Natural Resources as a Fire Ranger in Hardy and Grant Counties for over 29 years. Three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. Surviving is his wife of 52 years, Lucille (Hedrick) Harr, three sons, Raymond ?Rockie? Harr and his wife Sharon of Franklin, WV; William Harr and his wife Maxine and daughter Caroline of Forrest, VA; Jeff Harr and his wife Susan of West Chesterfield, NH; two sisters, Virginia Smith of Columbus, OH and Agnes Carr of Belington, WV and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services were conducted Wednesday, January 28, 2004, at the Hinkle Funeral Home in Davis, WV with the Rev. Doyle Patch officiating. Interment followed at the Beuna Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Beuna Chapel U.M.C., c/o Carolyn Brown, HC 70 Box 285, Davis, WV 26260.
