Robert Earl Arnold

Robert Earl ?Bob? Arnold, age 90 of Washington St., Moorefield, WV passed away Wednesday afternoon, September 24, 2003 at the Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg, VA. Born August 21, 1913 in Burlington, WV he was a son of the late James & Sally (Arnold) Arnold. He was a veteran of the US Army of WWII, a member of the Moorefield Church of the Brethren, a member of the John M. Golliday Post# 64 American Legion; and a Life member of the Denny-Moyers-Pratt Post# 9606 V.F.W. ?Bob? was retired from the B & O Railroad as a Maintenance Supervisor. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita (Saville) Arnold in March 1994. Two daughters, Marsha Zuber and Janet Arnold; a son, Don Arnold and a granddaughter, also preceded him in death. Surviving is a daughter, Luann Branson of Baker, WV; a daughter-in-law, Pat Arnold of Sterling, VA; a son-in-law, Lawrence Zuber of Old Fields, WV; twelve grandchildren and thirty-one great-grandchildren. Funeral Services were conducted Saturday, September 27, 2003 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with Pastor Jim Keena officiating. Interment followed with Military Graveside Rites accorded by the US Army and the Moorefield Veteran?s Honor Guard at the Olivet Cemetery in Moorefield.
