Robert Harry Michalides

Robert Harry Michalides, age 70 of 3rd Street, Moorefield, WV, passed away Tuesday afternoon, March 2, 2010 at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born April 25, 1939 I Mt. Savage, MD, he was the son of the late Elmer Harry & Julia Rosealine (Sipe) Michalides. He was a US Army veteran and a member of the John M. Golliday, Post #64 American Legion. Surviving is his wife of 16 years, Ruthie (Borror) Michalides; tow daughters, Robin Pennington of Moorefield, WV and Stephanie Strawderman of Petersburg, WV; four brothers, Ronald Michalides, Leroy Michalides & Barry Michalides all of Johnstown, PA and Albert Michalides of Washington, PA; a sister, Nancy Locher of Johnstown, PA and two grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, March 5, 2010 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., with the Bradley Thorne officiating. Interment will follow at Walnut Grove Gardens, Rte.55 East of Moorefield. The family will receive friends from 6 ? 8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
