Roger Ervin Ours

Roger Ervin Ours, age 58 of Mt. View Rd., Purgitsville, WV, passed away Sunday evening, September 5, 2004 at his residence. Born April 2, 1946 in Grant Co., WV he was a son of Lena Mae (Mongold) Ours of Purgitsville, WV and the late Ervin Ours. He was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Surviving is his wife, Betty (Barb) Ours; two daughters, Tina Ours-Reynolds and fianc Allan Kile II of Purgitsville, WV and Amy Hines and husband Shad of Purgitsville, WV; a granddaughter, Tiffani D. Reynolds; a grandson, Bryce M. Hines; seven brothers, Roscoe Ours, Larry Ours, Robert Ours, Delmas Ours, Jimmy Ours, Randy Ours and Michael Ours all of Purgitsville, WV; and six sisters; Linda Sherman of Moorefield, WV, Arletta Miller of Purgitsville, WV, Carol Ours of Moorefield, WV, Mary Barb of Purgitsville, WV, Esther Runions of Purgitsville, WV and Nancy Schewbel of Philadelphia, MS. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 9, 2004 at the Rig Assembly of God Church with Pastors Brad Taylor & Alton Lee officiating. Interment will follow at the South Branch Memorial Gardens near Petersburg, WV, where Military Graveside Rites will be accorded. The family will receive friends from 2 ? 4 & 7 ? 9 PM Wednesday at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield. Memorials may be directed to a fund for the grandchildren, c/o Amy Hines, P.O.
