Rose Anna Hardy

Rose Anna Hardy, age 85 of Railroad St., Moorefield, WV, passed away Tuesday evening, October 19, 2010 at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born June 6, 1925 in Hardy Co., WV she was the daughter of the late Benjamin F. & Vernie E. (Helmick) Strawderman. Her husband, Omer Hardy preceded her in death in March 1990. A daughter, a grandson, four sisters and two brothers also preceded her in death. Surviving is a son; Danny Hardy of Greenbank, WV; a sister, Evelyn Dodson of Winchester, VA; a special friend, Denver Bergdoll and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, October 23, 2010 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., with Pastor Harold Garber officiating. Interment will follow at the Kessel Cemetery, Kessel, WV. Friends may call after 8:00 AM Saturday and the family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until time of services at 11:00.
