Rose Mary Hedrick

Rose Mary Hedrick, age 79 of Cold Spring Road, Moorefield, WV, passed away Friday afternoon at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born October 2, 1931 in Hampshire Co., WV, she was a daughter of the late Charles N. & Mary Susan (Leatherman) Helman. She was preceded in death by three sisters, two brothers and a step-grandson. She was the last member of her immediate family. She was a member of the Walnut Grove Church of the Brethren and a past member of the Moorefield Volunteer Fire Company 46 Auxiliary. She had retired from Wampler-Longacre Poultry after 43 years of service. Surviving is her husband of 59 years, George W. Hedrick; a daughter, Mary Lou Ratliff of Moorefield, WV; a granddaughter; Tracy Combs, a step-grandson; Dave Ratliff, a great-grandson Quincy Combs and two step-great-grandchildren, Davey Keplinger & Amber Ratliff. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., with Pastor Brad Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 ? 4 & 6 ? 8 PM Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family in Rose Mary?s honor which will be chosen by the family at a later date.
