Russell Eugene Mowery,

Russell Eugene Mowery, Sr. age 59 of Moorefield, WV, passed away Thursday afternoon, May 1, 2014 at his residence. Born July 31, 1954 in Hardy Co., WV, he was the son of the late Hattie Belle Mowery. A brother, Stephen preceded him in death. Surviving is his wife of 37 years, Twila J. (Myers) Mowery; two sons, Phillip S. Myers & Russell E. Mowery, Jr. of Moorefield, WV; a special foster son, Nathan Miley of Moorefield, WV; a daughter, Tracy L. Mowery of Moorefield, WV; a brother, William E. Mowery of Romney, WV; a sister, Diane L. Koontz of Moorefield, WV; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Sunday, May 4, 2014 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St. with Pastor Brad Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 -4 & 6 8 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
