Samuel Lyle Hinkle

Samuel Lyle Hinkle, age 58 of Moorefield, WV, passed away Sunday evening, May 12, 2013 at his residence. Born September 9, 1954 at Cumberland, MD, he was the son of the late Samuel Edward Hinkle and Mary Katherine Lee (Miller) Hinkle Wilkins. He was a member of the Moorefield Lodge # 29 A.F. & A.M. and a 32nd Degree of the The Scottish Rite of Fremasonary, Orient of Maryland at Cumberland. An auction hopper, he collected antiques and memorabilia and was dedicated to the Relay for Life. He worked at Hester Industries for 28 years in the parts room and worked also for American Woodmark. A sister preceded him in death. Surviving is his wife of 34 years, R. Yvonne (Alt) Hinkle; a daughter, Kelly J. Franklin (husband Russ) of Martinsburg, WV and a granddaughter, Brynlee. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, May 16, 2013 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., with Pastor Brad Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 ? 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
