Sandra Lee Beckner

Sandra Lee Beckner, age 76 of Chipley Lane, Moorefield, WV, passed away Sunday afternoon, January 24, 2021 at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born on January 24, 1945 in Mt. Morris, PA, she was the daughter of the late Alfred James Kahlbaugh and Helen Virginia Temple Kahlbaugh. Her husband, Jerry George Washington Beckner, a granddaughter, Jessica Rowan, a grandson, Gregory Scott and a sister Louise Shipley preceded her in death.

Sandy was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and sister. She loved the holidays when she could do what she loved most, cook for her family. She also enjoyed working in her flower beds, yard selling, auctions, and spending time with her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy.

Surviving are two daughters, Gretchen (Michael) Baker of New Creek, WV, Teresa (James) Crislip of Philippi, WV; three sons, James (Sharon) Kahlbaugh of Grafton, WV, Donald (Wilma) Kahlbaugh of Lexington, KY and Michael Gould of Moorefield, WV; four granddaughters, Caysie George, Kristina Crislip, Shannon Haller & Mellisa Moore; five grandsons, Brandon, Joshua, Joseph, Jimmy, Johnathon; multiple great-grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Reed of Buckhannon, WV and Patty Shipley of Clarksville, PA and a brother Bill Kahlbaugh of Girard, PA.
