Sandra Sue McCauley

Sandra Sue McCauley, age 75 of Gelia Street, Moorefield, WV, passed away Wednesday morning, December 16, 2020 at Davis Medical Center in Elkins, WV. Born on June 23, 1945 in Garrett County, MD, she was a daughter of the late Burtis Herman Bittinger and Ethelean (Bittinger) Bittinger. Her husband, Raymond Ray McCauley preceded her in death in February 2009. A granddaughter, Angel McDonald and a grandson, Billy Haden, a son-in-law, Leonard McDonald also preceded her in death.

Sandra enjoyed shopping and eating out at different restaurants. She especially enjoyed her trips to Costco where she wanted to purchase everything in the store. She enjoyed planting flowers around her house and was proud of her floral garden and yard. Other than work, she would come home, watch TV, and go to bed and repeated this daily routine. The only break she had was the precious time she spent with her children and grandchildren that she truly loved.

Surviving are three sons, Greg McCauley and Mike McCauley of Moorefield, WV and Franklin McCauley of Mill Creek, WV; three daughters, Donna McCauley of Old Fields, WV; Terry McDonald of Moorefield, WV and Annette Thomas of Alberta, Canada; eleven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be conducted 11:30 AM Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at the Olivet Cemetery with Pastor Chris Whetzel officiant. Interment will follow.

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, wearing of masks and social distancing will be required at the cemetery.
