Sylvia Ann Unger

Sylvia Ann Unger, age 75 of Moorefield, WV, passed away Friday morning, February 19, 2021 at Dawn View Center in Ft. Ashby, WV. Born on December 19, 1945 on Wolfe Mountain, Bass, WV, she was a daughter of the late Allen Roosevelt Wolfe and Gladys Ethel May Wolfe. She was preceded in death by her longtime companion, John Wayne Wilson, a son, David Allen Lewis and two brothers, Robert Wolfe and William A. Wolfe.

Sylvia was an outdoors like person who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Outspoken, she often offered her unsolicited opinion in any situation while at the same time giving you “the look”.

Surviving is a daughter, Carol Ann Watts of Ft. Ashby, WV; a granddaughter, Fallyn Watts of Ft. Ashby, WV; a brother, Roger Wolfe of Moorefield, WV; a sister, Carolyn Malcolm of Moorefield, WV and numerous nieces and nephews she loved dearly.

Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 PM Thursday, February 25, 2021 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street with Antony Watts celebrant. Interment will follow at the Charlie Wolfe Cemetery on Wolfe Mountain, Bass, WV. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, wearing of masks, temperature checks and social distancing will be required at the funeral home at all times.
