David Todd Snyder, age 55 of Moorefield, WV, passed away Saturday evening, July 18, 2026, at his residence. Born on December 29, 1970, in Leesburg, VA, he was the son of Elizabeth Bell “Libby” Calhoun Snyder of Moorefield, WV and the late Larry Paxton Snyder. A brother-in-law, Steve Wolfe also preceded him in death.

Todd, along his father’s side operated Larry & Todd’s Barber Shop for almost 30 years, assuming the daily routine after his father passed away in 2018. A U.S. Army Veteran, he was a member of the American Legion Post#64; a member of the V.F.W. Post #9606; and a member of the 40 & 8 Voiture #1623. He was an outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing and local sports. His favorite saying was “we have dirty laundry on the field”. He had a sense of humor, being the jokester in the room and you would see him on his lawnmower in season, making sure that grass was cut perfection. Family was his core foundation, providing unconditional love and unwavering support, a constant source of strength.

Surviving in addition to his mother is his loving wife of 23 years, Lorena Anne Wolfe Snyder; a son, Blake Snyder; daughters, Alexis Snyder and Hannah Snyder; a sister, Monica (Jake) Wilson; sister-in-law, Tracy (Craig) Sherman; brothers-in-law, Randall (Joyce) Wolfe, Andrew (Heidi) Wolfe, Nick (Brenda) Wolfe, Buddy (Penny) Wolfe and Ben (Tamara) Wolfe and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In celebration of Todd's life, we invite friends, family, and loved ones to gather for his funeral services, which will take place Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Rig Assembly of God Church. Pastors Brad Taylor and Steve Snyder will lead the service as we come together to honor this incredible man. Interment will follow in the Wayne Wolfe Family Cemetery, where Todd will receive Military Graveside Rites, accorded by the U.S. Army and the Moorefield Veteran’s Honor Guard, showing gratitude for his service.

The family will welcome visitors from 11:00 AM until the time of the service, allowing everyone a chance to share memories and comfort one another during this difficult time.
