Vivian Helmick

Vivian Bessie Helmick, age 67 of Moorefield, WV passed away Friday afternoon, March 14, 2003 at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born August 11, 1935 in Hampshire Co., WV she was a daughter of Carrie (Mayhew) Ayers of Romney, WV and the late Emanuel Ayers. Her husband James V. Helmick preceded her in death in 1991, she was also preceded in death by 2 brothers. She was a member of the Moorefield Church of the Brethren. Surviving are four sons; Dorman Helmick, Justin ?Chuck? Helmick & Timmy Helmick all of Moorefield and Jessie Helmick of Keyser, WV; two daughters, Sharon Flanagan of Moorefield and Patty Sterling of Petersburg, WV; six brothers, Norman Ayers of Augusta, WV; Bobby Ayers of Inwood, WV; Harold Ayers, Joe Ayers, Ronnie Ayers and Dave Ayers all of Romney, WV; five sisters; Melvina Jenkins, Darlene Kline, Shirley White and Wanda Gilman all of Romney, WV and Donna Landes of Inwood, WV; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral Services were conducted Monday, March 17, 2003 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with the Rev. Raymond Helmick officiating. Interment followed at the Baldwin Cemetery near Moorefield.
