Wayne Melvin Wolfe

Wayne Melvin Wolfe, age 80 of Riverbed Lane, Moorefield, WV, passed away Friday morning, March 23, 2012 at the V.A. Medical Center in Martinsburg, WV. Born November 11, 1931 on Wolfe Mountain, Bass, WV, he was the son of the late Melvin Paige & Hazel Ruth (Thomas) Wolfe. Wayne was a member of the Rig Assembly of God Church and was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War. His first wife, Wanda (Snyder) Wolfe preceded him in death in 1962. A brother also preceded him in death. Surviving is his wife of 49 years, Molly Ann (Taylor) Wolfe; six sons, Steven Wolfe (Wilma) of Baker, WV; Randall Wolfe (Joyce), Andrew Wolfe (Heidi), Nick Wolfe (Brenda), Wayne T. Wolfe (Misty) and Ben Wolfe (Tamara) all of Moorefield, WV; two daughters, Tracy Sherman (Craig) and Lorena Snyder (Todd) both of Moorefield, WV; a brother, Bruce Wolfe of Moorefield, WV; four sisters, Lola Crider-Williams, Elizabeth Whitener, Armeda Nosal, and Judy Wolfe all of Moorefield, WV; eighteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at the Rig Assembly of God Church with Pastor Brad Taylor and Mr. Lane Lee officiating. Interment will follow at the Wayne Wolfe Family Cemetery, Moorefield, WV, where Military Graveside Rites will be accorded. Friends may call after 12:00 PM, Noon and the family will receive friends from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 PM Monday at the Rig Assembly of God Church.
