William Andrew Tully, III

William Andrew “Bill” Tully, III of Moorefield, WV, formerly of Charleston, WV, passed away Monday morning, July 18, 2022 at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. Born on June 5, 1938 in Charleston, WV, he was a son of the late William Andrew Tully, Jr. and Crystal Mozelle Kelso Tully. A daughter, Kimberly Tully-Moran, a brother, Earl Gene Tully and a sister, Pamela Tully Frye also preceded him in death.

Bill worked for Union Carbide/Rhone Poulenc for 40 years, retiring in 1998. In retirement, Bill went on numerous cruises and while at home, he and Jo enjoyed hosting many friends and relatives at their home in Moorefield.

Surviving is his significant other, Carolyn Jo Griffith of Moorefield; a son William Richard Tully (Monica) of Lake Wylie, SC; a daughter, Amanda Marie Tully of Charleston, SC; three grandchildren, Brandi Ford, Zachary Tully and Andrew Tully and two great-grandchildren, Chase Dalla Riva and Arryana Noll.

Bill’s request to be cremated has been honored and a private family service will be held at a later date.
