Ashley Nichole McDonald

Ashley Nichole McDonald, age 28 of Oldtown, MD passed away tragically along with her unborn son, Rowan Jackson McDonald on Friday evening, June 26, 2020, near Moorefield, WV. Born on March 18, 1992, in Petersburg, WV, she was raised by her maternal grandparents, Janice & Ronald Crabtree of Oldtown, MD, and the daughter of Brian Alan McDonald of Moorefield, WV, and Theresa Lynn Crabtree of Dallas, TX.

Ashley was a 2015 graduate of Fort Hill High School and attended Allegany Community College where she received a certification as a Pharmacy Technician. Ashley was an outgoing person who never met a stranger and was described as a people person. She loved attending concerts, flower gardening and was a lover of all animals but mostly her dog, Max and cat, Garcia.

Along with her parents and maternal grandparents, she is survived by her paternal grandparents, Forest and Annabelle McDonald of Moorefield, WV; a sister, Courtney Leisure of Texas; a step-sister, Tabitha Bender of Oldtown, MD; uncles, Todd (Valerie) McDonald & Jed (Judy) McDonald, aunts, Tammy Bender & Sherry Lou Miller; great-aunt Linda (Victor) Chira; uncle Bryan “BB” Bender; friends, Aaron & Jenny Frasier of Cumberland, MD and her furry four-legged animals, Max & Garcia.

Graveside Services will be conducted at 12:30 PM Friday, July 3, 2020, at the Olivet Cemetery with Pastors Jack & Tammy Turner as officiants. Interment will follow.
